Attorney Sarah B. Bondar focuses her practice on litigation, primarily practicing in the areas of family law, school law, mental health law, and Social Security Disability matters. Ms. Bondar represents clients across southeastern Wisconsin in complex family cases involving divorce, paternity, child custody, support and maintenance disputes. She has a particular passion for children’s legal issues, including helping children get the placement, special education services, government benefits, and other support they need to thrive in the educational environment, at home, and elsewhere. Ms. Bondar regularly represents the best interests of children and adults with disabilities as guardian ad litem.
Sarah is an active member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin – Family Law Section. She also serves as a Board Member for the Board of Directors for the Waukesha County Bar Association. Sarah is also admitted to law in the United States District Court – Eastern District of Wisconsin.
Sarah is a graduate of Marquette University Law School. During law school, Sarah dedicated herself to helping the local community, volunteering more than 150 hours of pro bono legal work, and volunteering in leadership roles for various school organizations including the Association of Women Lawyers, Dispute Resolution Society, and Children and Family Law Society.
Sarah graduated law school with a certificate in Litigation and in Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Prior to law school, Sarah attended undergraduate school at Marquette University. After graduating she spent over four years in public service as a law enforcement officer and 911 dispatcher before going back to school to become an attorney.
